Paintless Dent Repair
Paintless dent repair (PDR) is the process of removing minor dents and dings without disturbing the paint finish of your vehicle by using special tools and processes. In many instances, paintless dent repair is a faster, more economical, and viable alternative to conventional body repair.
The PDR procedure involves the use of specialized tools to apply pressure to the backside of the panel to gradually "push" the dent or ding out. In some cases, a "tab" is bonded to the exterior of the panel to gradually "pull" the dent or ding out. By utilizing either or both of these techniques, our PDR technician is able to restore the panel without requiring it to go through the process of refinishing.
Not all dents and dings are candidates for paintless dent repair, however; if the paint is cracked in the area of the dent, or if the area of the dent is not accessible from the backside of the panel, the dent or ding cannot be removed using paintless dent repair.
